To get started, you will need a Pickaxe. You will receive one for free when you reach level 25, but if you lose it, you can buy it again. It is sold by Kevin, located at the NPC teleport. Once obtained, use the pickaxe to break some rocks that look like these: , which can be found by respawning NPCs such as Cyclops, Dwarfs, etc. Once you have enough stones, you can craft your next, stronger pickaxe, the Stone Pickaxe, which will allow you to start collecting your first ore: copper.
To mine, you will need to right-click your tool in hand and left-click on the desired ore. Doing this, assuming your pickaxe is strong enough to mine the ore, an animation will start indicating the progress of the mining, meaning you will need to complete the animation to collect the ores.
If you don’t know what can be mined, you can right-click your mining tool and left-click on yourself or anything that isn’t an ore to highlight the collectable ores on the screen.
Currently, there are seven types of ores and seven levels of mining tools, which will be listed below.
Improving your mining tool will not only allow you to collect better materials, but also increase the amount of materials collected from a single ore.
You can find ores and crystals scattered across the BlackTalon hunting areas.
