¶ Getting Started
To get started, you will need a Pickaxe. You will receive one for free when you reach level 25, but if you lose it, you can buy it again. It is sold by Kevin, located at the NPC teleport. Once obtained, use the pickaxe to break some rocks that look like these: 
, which can be found by some respawns, such as Cyclops, Dwarfs, etc. After obtaining enough rocks, you will be able to craft your first scissors, the stone scissors, which will allow you to start gathering your first plants, which look like these:

¶ Herbalist Mechanics
To collect, you will need to right-click the tool in your hand and left-click the desired plant. Doing this, assuming your scissors are strong enough to collect the plant, an animation will start that indicates the progress of the collection, meaning you will need to finish the animation to collect the plants.
If you don't know what can be collected, right-click the scissors and left-click on yourself or anything that is not a plant to highlight foraging plants on the screen.
¶ Tools and Plants
Currently, there are seven levels of scissors.
Upgrading your scissors will not only allow you to collect better materials but also improve the amount of materials collected from a single plant.
You can find plants spread across hunting areas and BlackTalon cities.

¶ Special Nodes
Sometimes, a special plant will appear instead of the normal one, with a 5% chance. Collecting these special plants will yield five times the normal amount.
